We’re business besties and the creative visionaries behind Bare Roots Branding. 

Haley is the brand strategy mastermind, and Raychel is the one behind the visual brand design. Together, we empower small business owners to plant meaningful roots so they can accelerate growth and gain the visibility they deserve.

As close friends and long-time colleagues, we’ve always said that we should team up in a big way. When we get in a room (or on a Zoom call) together, our brains seem to link and supercharge. Every time we work together, we love the results. Our values align beautifully, and our strengths (and non-strengths!) complement each other perfectly. So, it just makes sense.

Our mission is to provide brand strategy and design services that meet you where you’re at and help propel you forward. With that mission at heart, we’ve developed a unique approach to brand strategy that we now have the honor of offering others.

Haley Sevalstad, Brand Strategy

After spending 10+ years in the heart of Denver, Colorado inspiring strategic solutions for some of the world’s most iconic brands, Montana born and  raised Haley hung up her corporate shoes, slipped on her cowgirl boots, and got back to her roots.

Haley is passionate about coming alongside organizations of all sizes, empowering them to be strong stewards of their own brands through the realization and alignment of their true brand power. Her sweet spot lies in building and implementing authentic and enticing brands and branded content across every touchpoint that captures the hearts and minds of her client’s most important audiences. As a seasoned account and brand strategist, she expertly aligns all the dots to create a complete picture of the solution to drive customer and business value. 

She holds a Bachelor of Advertising degree from the University of Idaho. In addition, she attended Miami Ad School in San Francisco, where she earned a certificate in account planning.

She has also nurtured her passion for partnering with horses to help women achieve a greater sense of well-being and self-love as a certified and trauma-informed Equine Gestalt Coach.

 

Raychel Lepkowski, Brand Design

An artist at heart, Raychel is always looking for ways to add visual appeal to everyday application and communication, and she loves to help individuals and organizations express their brands in beautiful, relevant ways.

Raychel has 18+ years of experience in digital design, specializing in visual brand development, strategic graphic design, information organization, UX / UI design, editorial design, marketing materials, and image making. She has contributed to multiple brands and national publications, including award-winning design for NewBeauty magazine. With an eye for detail, a modern aesthetic, and a love for applying strategy to design, she specializes in connecting brands and products with positive consumer experiences.

She attended Digital Media Arts College in Boca Raton, Florida and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

In her “spare” time, she loves to explore all mediums of art and design, including–but not limited to–drawing portraits, painting, interior curating, digital composites, sewing and quilting, building, collages, reclamation, and crafting. She loves to play, explore, and relax in nature.
